PAYLOAD PAL
These resources are designed to enable you to get a team to the BMFA payload challenges.
-
Using our Aerolution curriculum you can teach a group about flight with very little expertise yourself.
-
For larger aircraft you will eventually need to access a model flying club or certificated RC pilot to test your designs but lots of work can be achieved before this.
-
Round The Pole can be done in a sports hall so you can test powered flight of your concepts before going full RC.
-
We scale up our concepts is such a way as demonstrates the issues with scaling dimensions, areas and volumes.
-
Our Payload Pal kits enable you to build and adjust your airframes before deciding on a final geometry. They are designed to break safely if they crash so you spend little time repairing them before trying again.

Payload Pal is suitable for BMFA challenges 1-3. Watch our own developmental flights here
