Junior Aer0nauts 9+

Aeroschool is rich in STEM content. During this course we explore an original range of kit based resources to learn about making skills, dynamics, design and engineering principles. This is for budding engineers and crafts-people who like making stuff with a purpose.

​This course is an ideal precursor to Senior Aeronauts who have regularly entered and won the BMFA payload challenges. This year will be the first Junior team to enter the Payload Challenges for which you will participate in building a RC Delta the carry a payload. This depends on the regularity and consistency of your attendance.​​

We strongly recommend you attend the challenges in June when we all camp together on a secure site at the event.

You will make, design and fly many gliders and build RTP planes. We cover CAD CAM design, laser cutting and 3D Printing, tools and materials, structures, dynamics such as momentum and forces - and much content at KS2 and 3 D&T!!

Sessions can be booked individually. Specific projects are advertised in Bookwhen and can be customised to suit the team members at the time.​
