With a wealth of experience in teaching, school management, home education and parenthood we've been dedicated to providing Alternative Education Provision to Local Authorities, schools and Home Education support for many years.

Mark

With a 3D Design degree under his belt and a solid 6 years of experience in Product Design in the industry Mark started his path as a D&T teacher, the curriculum of which taught teach children how to tackle real-life problems. He spent a good 16 years teaching and leading a Design Team for 5 of those years across 3 state schools.

Back in 2012, Mark and Bev started TSL, aiming to provide for school kids who needed an alternative learning

environment and strategy.

Since then, Mark's been cooking up all sorts of cool projects and strategies at T&SL, giving kids the chance to spread their wings in ways that goes beyond a traditional classroom setting.

Bev

Bev is a dedicated home educating mother with a passion for education.

With a background in teaching German both abroad and in UK colleges combined with a degree in law and education she brings a wealth of expertise to her role.

Bev delves deep into the realms of Independent Learning and Special Educational Needs (SEN) that profoundly impact children in their educational journey.

Balancing her personal studies with the coordination of TSL, Bev handles our bookings, contracts, and actively engages in networking at conferences and educational gatherings, ensuring the smooth functioning of the educational initiatives.

Jade

Jade was home educated by Bev and Mark. She went on to study Ballet diploma at Preston and after that Ballet degree at Ballet West Argyll Scotland. In this time Jade toured and performed with the ballet in China company.

Jade went on to perform at the 02 Arena with Darcy Bussell at the opening ceremony of the London Olympics.

Since then Jade has married and is raising two fine young boys with her husband. She teaches at T&S and is involved in the management of PR and advertising.
