AEROSCHOOL SOLUTIONS

MISSION STATEMENT:
To empower parents and teachers to deliver Aero Engineering to an ever younger age group. To engage with children at their most creative, innovative, and tenacious capacity. Engendering observation skills, critical thinking and independent learning. Drawing individuals into community thinking and purpose; in this subject that uniquely unites theory with practical purpose, core skills with vocational interests, awe and wonder with practical science.

6 ways to Access T&S AEROSCHOOL

Options

General:

  • Attend an airshow or event where we regularly run activities such as Shuttleworth Collection.

  • Sign up for notifications and news on FB /Email

  • Join an after school club locally to Northants UK

  • Sign up to an Aerocamp 3 days event at a local venue or at T&S in Northants UK
     

Students access to our timetabled courses

  • Home Eds and private after school students and adult students book on our courses here.


Bespoke Alternative Provision

  • SENCOS contact us by email please.


Organisation Events

  • Book our team to run your activity at your event we provide everything you supervise your children. We can attend with our T&S Bus/awnings for multiple day events only. Enquire by email please.


Organisation Training for you to deliver our curriculum using our bulk kits and hardware.

  • Book us to train your staff for Aeroschool accreditation. Include other orgs to save costs.

  • As above attend a scheduled training session here.

  • Sign up to our notifications by FB/Email as an organisation or individual.

  • Access our products to purchase kits or CAD licenses online (email sign up and membership fee)

  • Book a session with a certified training provider such as the BMFA, Air League or Shuttleworth Discovery Zone

AEROSQUARE 

AEROSQUARE​

A first experience in glider making beginning with a square of cardboard and culminating in a delta glider that flies really well. Ideal for public events, shows, school activity sessions, 'Big Bang' off time table days, scout sessions etc

MULTIWING Wing shape and aspect ratio comparison

MULTIWING​

Use this kit of card parts and template set to create a variety of wing shapes from a fixed area of cardboard.

 

Use the templates to cut wing panels and assemble them in various orders. All offcuts must be included in the wing.

 

Then test and fly to see which wing shapes are the best.

PAYLOAD PAL

Resources designed to enable you to get a school team to the BMFA payload challenges.

  • Using more of our curriculum ideas kits and concepts you can teach a group about flight with relatively little expertise yourself.

  • For larger aircraft you will eventually need to access a model flying club or certificated RC pilot to test your designs but lots of work can be achieved before this. 

  • We make gliders and then scale up these concepts when they have proven their worth.

  • Our Payload Pal kits enable you to build and adjust your airframes before deciding on a final geometry. They are designed to break safely if they crash so you spend little time repairing them before trying again.
