By popular demand a folding version of the already popular ParaChirp kit.
Basic MDF frame and two sets of polypropylene 'petals', Parachirp Go or 'ParaGo' is ideal for those who enjoy interacting and personalising a product and who don't want to spend £££ on high end equipment but do want a high quality recording. ParaChirp has huge benefits such as being low tech it is not subject to the flaws of electronics in the field. It can be repaired with basic materials. ParaChirp device performs very favourably against relatively expensive audio solutions at a fraction of the cost.
Please note 'smartphone' or microphone not included. Colours used to identify parts - the kit comes in unpainted MDF unless otherwise specified.
ParaGo comes with both 'phone plate' as well as microphone ring for use with lavaliere mics. It also can be used with a selfie stick to support the phone for taking video with enhanced audio.
Petals cab be removed or folded down as used by 'Biking Birder'
Two sets of petals are provided which give you the option of a folding product or a fixed petal array.
ParaChirp P29 'ParaGo'
ParaChirp p29 is suited to the field where portability and quality are important. The materials acommodate moisture and heat and can be disposed of ecologically/recycled. P29 can be folded or disassembled but the number of cycles will be limited as wear occurs when unclipping and reclipping the parts. Hot glue can significanly increase strength but this is not deemed essential. The smartphone is fitted to PC with 'hair ties' which must be monitored and replaced when worn. We accept no liability for lost or damaged devices. Alternatively for Video use the smartphone may be mounted on a selfie stick which can be attached to PC. Alternatively the device may be carried on the person and either a wired mic fitted to PC or a Bluetooth device. This provides a number of configurations for security and protection of your device.
