Based on the 'design process' we promote thinking skills and strategies that enable learners to:

  • identify goals

  • identify barriers to their goals

  • solve problems and develop ideas through iterative  learning - (trial and error)

  • create and innovate solutions

  • test and evaluate their progress

  • repeat as necessary

The journey is more important than success.

Life is actually like that and we would encourage state education to adopt much more creativity and value based content in all subjects just as is done in the big wide world, and to focus less on facts and results that have dubious relevance and more on strategies that can be transferred into many contexts.
